- Ebony Williams was an outstanding and competitive athlete at Wynnewood High School class 3a basketball in Oklahoma, leading her team to 4 district titles, 4 regional titles, and 2 state appearance and 1 state runner up title. All state in 800m run and All state in cross country her junior and senior year. She was a 4 sport athlete in basketball, cross country, track and softball. Also at 16 she was selected to play for the jr USA team in Amsterdam, where she received the MVP of the Belgium Tournament in 1998.
- She pursued her dreams in the game of basketball by playing for Langston University as a Lady Lion. Where she grew in her skill and knowledge of basketball.
- She later on after college continued to give back to many young athletes by becoming the Head coach at John Marshall high school, were she coached volleyball, basketball and track for over 10 years, ensuring many athletes that crossed her path who wanted to pursue their dreams at the next level by making sure they were recognized for their talents. As for where she in her course of coaching, she has sent 7 girls to college in basketball and volleyball on scholarships, also being one of the FIRST female coaches to do this at John Marshall. Setting the tone she, as coach, won 2 district titles and 1 regional consolation for John Marshall high school in class 4A. Her hunger for success and passion to see athletes be successful caused her to become not only a coach but a mentor to many athletes..
- She loves the game of basketball and more so seeing athletes be successful at accomplishing their dreams in life and in sports. She believes that ' A journey of a thousand miles begins with one single step" We must be courageous as coaches and athletes to make sure we are not afraid to take that step because we never know where it will lead us.
